Report Export Feature in Datapax

What does this do?
Turning on this feature will enable Datapax users to export any report printed in Datapax to either an Excel, PDF or Word document.  

Important Notice:
When the selection is turned on, this optional window will appear for every print performed.  Turning on this selection is computer specific, so one user may choose to have this option turned on while another chooses not to.    

How to turn on Export options

Open the datapax.ini file (Standard directory is usually c:\Program Files\Datapax Bakery System\datapax.ini) and add in the following text Export=Y and Save. Restart Datapax.



How to turn off Export optionse.  

Open the datapax.ini file and add in the following text Export=N and Save.



How to Use Export Optione.  

  • After the modifications to the datapax.ini file, open Datapax and print any report as you usually do
  • Select a printer and hit OK
  • New window will appear with two options.  You can select to print to the printer OR export to file.
  • Select the type of file you want from the drop down menu provided (Word, Excel or PDF) and hit OK.
  • Select the directory you want to store the file in and adjust the file name as desired
  • Save
